Based on your imaging scale and seeing conditions, it calculates your seeing disk in pixels and recommends a dither range of 1.25×–1.5× the seeing disk, with proper rounding and safety floors built in.
It then converts that movement into the exact value to enter into NINA — assuming a clean setup with PHD2 Dither Scale = 1.0.
