Master Deep Sky Processing & Astrophotography

 "This is proof that you can do astrophotography with what you have. It's not an elitist club that you have to buy yourself into. This image was obtained with an older, used Celestron NexStar 8SE on it's alt/az mount with a very used Canon EOS 1100D that was astromodified for about $100 and the cheap knockoff Celestron f/6.3 reducer made by Astromania. Stacked about 100 x 8 second subs in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Photoshop. This was after I had recently been told to throw my SCT in the dumpster and buy a little refractor because "you can't
drift a dump truck."
